BitsOfData focuses on the collection and use of remote sensing data.

The goal of BitsOfData is to use remote sensing data in order to create information that can be used to give an intelligent, founded answer to a business question, in other words the transformation of remote sensing data into information.

Remote sensing

Remote sensing is the science and art of obtaining information about an object, area or phenomena, through the analysis of data acquired by a device, that is not in contact with the object, area or phenomena under investigation.

Choice of platform

For BitsOfData the platform for data acquisition is not the driving factor, it is the data itself that generates value. Therefore we can choose the appropriate platform for each data challenge, being either satellite, aerial, drone, or terrestrial.
